Who We Are

Welcome to Janaseva - A Beacon of Hope

Janaseva is a Bengaluru-based association founded in August 2020 with a mission to uplift those in need. We are a registered society (DRBI/SOR/148/2020-21 dated 27th Aug 2020) and have received approval under section 80G of the Income Tax Act (AADTJ6983CF20204/AY2022-2027), allowing us to accept tax-deductible donations.

Our Focus

Our primary goal is to provide medical assistance to the underprivileged. We understand the financial burden of medical care, and we strive to alleviate it for those who approach us. Additionally, we offer interest-free educational loans to deserving students. These loans are to be repaid after their studies, enabling them to support future generations in need.

Beyond Financial Aid

In collaboration with the Shankara Veda Patha Shale in Bengaluru, we conduct annual homa and havan ceremonies. We also publish informative books for the general public, with the proceeds supporting our core causes.

Stronger Together: Collaborations for Impact

For the past three years, we have been partnering with Karada Sahayaka Bandhu. Together, we have amplified our efforts in providing medical help to those in need. This collaboration shows our commitment for maximizing our impact through teamwork.

Our Impact

Since our inception, we have made a significant difference in the lives of many. Here's a glimpse of our financial support over the past few years:

2021-22: ₹1,62,000 for medical aid
2022-23: ₹1,34,010 for medical aid and ₹57,000 in educational loans
2023-24 (YTD): ₹1,45,845 for education and ₹1,23,011 for medical aid

Furthermore, in 2023-24, we facilitated the donation of a dialysis machine worth ₹8.5 lakhs to the Co-Operative Hospital in Mulleria Kasaragod.

Sustainability and Growth

Janaseva is solely dependent on the generosity of our members and well-wishers. We are grateful for the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India's permission to undertake Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities starting March 2023. This authorization allows us to expand our reach and impact in the coming years.
